Role Description
We are hiring a full-time, on-site Decorative Designer focused on FF&E and procurement: furniture, decorative lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware, rugs, art, and accessories. This is not an interior architecture role. Daily tasks include selecting furniture, finishes, and materials, producing technical drawings for custom furnishings, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in design conceptualization, spatial planning, and material and furniture selection
- Knowledge of project management, construction documentation, and industry standards
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field; NCIDQ certification or equivalent is a plus
- Experience in residential or hospitality design is highly desirable
