We are seeking a detail-focused, tech-savvy HR Specialist to support our People, Talent & Culture team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in HR systems, data accuracy, reporting, and compliance in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
This is a high-impact administrative role centered on accuracy, systems management, and data integrity—not employee relations. THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION. REMOTE OR TELECOMMUTE ARRANGEMENTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
HRIS & Employee Data Management
- Enter and maintain employee data in HRIS and Time & Attendance systems
- Process new hires, transfers, promotions, pay changes, and terminations
- Verify accuracy of job, pay, tax, benefits, and employment records
- Perform routine data audits and correct discrepancies
- Ensure records are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready
- Run recurring and ad hoc system reports
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Use Excel (pivot tables required) to analyze HR data and identify trends
- Compile data for turnover, headcount, payroll changes, and compliance reporting
- Provide data summaries to assist leadership in decision making
- Support development of templates for standardized reports
Compliance & Documentation Support
- Assist with I-9 completion, E-Verify, and ongoing compliance audits
- Track training, certifications, and policy acknowledgments
- Support ACA, EEO-1, and state/federal reporting
- Maintain documentation for internal and external audits
Operational & Onboarding Support
- Support onboarding data setup and assist with new hire orientation
- Maintain data consistency across payroll, benefits, and HR workflows
- Collaborate with Payroll Accountant, HR Generalist and HR Admin on data-related tasks
- Support continuous process improvement efforts
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Three (3) years in HRIS, HR data, payroll support, or HR compliance
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reconciliation, audits, and data tracking.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (Paycom, Workday, UKG, ADP, SAP, etc.)
- Accuracy, reliability, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Have a natural curiosity to research, learn, and improve systems
- Confident owning data processing and adapting quickly to new tools, tasks, and challenges
- Experience in hospitality or private club industry, preferred
- Working knowledge of basic employment laws and compliance practices
