This CDL Class B driving position earns a competitive wage and benefit package of $60,000 - $75,000 per year. Work is seasonal, so you will earn that salary between mid-March and mid-December. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CDL CLASS B DRIVER AND LABORER
As a CDL Class B Driver and Laborer, your efforts play an essential role in the quality road construction we're famous for! You will be trained to learn a variety of different skills on highway projects - including joint sealing, tack coat spraying, and other specialized applications of materials. You take pride in keeping your truck clean and in good repair.
Attentive to detail, you comply with all regulations as you work alongside asphalt paving crews. You enjoy being part of a team that has a family-like atmosphere, and you love seeing the "before" and "after" results of your road construction efforts! Our current drivers have decades of experience and are eager to train you for success!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CDL CLASS B DRIVER
- Class B CDL driver's license with tanker endorsement and a good driving record
- Hazmat endorsement is a plus, but not a requirement
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job such as climbing, bending, working in extreme weather, and lifting items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work on your feet for an entire shift
- Willingness to work the day shift or night shift
- Basic math skills
- Willingness to comply with our company policy regarding drug screening

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A CDL CLASS B DRIVER AND LABORER
This full-time seasonal truck driver and laborer position requires an individual who is able to work day shift or night shift, work 40-50 hours per week, and able to work occasional weekends if needed. Many jobs are local, but some jobs are 2 hours away. We are looking for hard-working individuals who are driven and motivated to bring their "best" every day.
