This position involves driving a sit-down industrial forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials on the production floor, warehouse, and trailer with and without pallets.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Transport unfinished and finished jobs or goods into the correct areas
- Move goods for jobs in process to appropriate areas as needed
- Inspect incoming product
- Load and unload trailers
- Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
- May confer with managers to ensure coordination of other production lines
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by moving empty pallets to a designated area
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and/or Production Supervisor
Requirements
Schedule:
- 10 - 12 hour shift
- Monday to Saturday
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Warehouse management: 1 year (Preferred)
- Propane-powered Sit-down Forklift: 1 year (Required)
