Part Time Events and Front of House Staff

Dangerous Pretzel Co. is a new locally owned restaurant and bakery in downtown Salt Lake City. We are growing our event staff as we add off-site operations to our schedule, including conventions, sports tournaments, farmers markets, and others. Be apart of a small team that serves unique German-style gourmet soft pretzels. We’re social, satisfying, and a little subversive. It’s time to get dangerous.

Job Summary

We’re looking for part-time team members who can do it all - greet customers and bake pretzels. You'll be responsible for preparing ingredients and dips, baking pretzels, preparing orders, and assisting customers. This position can be flexible with their schedule and get more hours if needed. Please don't apply if you're not willing to work evenings and weekends.

You'll work with our small events team to make sure everything is prepped the day before, and then to serve customers on site during our open hours. You will be the first face people see when they come to our booth, so we need candidates who are personable and represent the Dangerous Pretzel brand. We're a small team so we're looking for people who are positive and work well with all different types of personalities.

We're new restaurant in Utah, so we need candidates who want to grow with us. Any background in food serve is helpful. We’re looking for individuals who love the products and have a passion for interacting with the customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Engaging with customers when they arrive & answering questions
• Putting all orders together
• Prepping add-in ingredients and mixing dips and packaging them
• Preparing the product in a way that maintains the Dangerous Pretzel standards
• Using & cleaning kitchen & event equipment

Qualifications

• Experience: customer-facing positions (restaurant or retail)
• Skills: Organized and detail-oriented. Ability to maintain proper food handling procedures and follow sanitation and safety regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Ability to work autonomously and own your responsibilities without oversight. Strong customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications/Licenses: Food handler's permit

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
