Bartender Job Description
We are looking to hire an experienced and outgoing Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced environment and delivers exceptional service with a positive attitude. Knowledge of Toast POS is a plus, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate. A current TIPS certification (or the ability to obtain one before starting) is required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine
- Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable customer service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
- Manage transactions using Toast POS (training available)
- Check IDs and follow all safety and alcohol service guidelines
- Adhere to TIPS-certified responsible alcohol service practices
- Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of bartending experience
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and bar techniques
- Current TIPS certification, or willingness to obtain prior to start date
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Willingness to learn Toast POS if not already familiar
