This is a fully onsite position at our facility in Tallahassee, FL.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assemble compressor components per work instructions/SOPs using hand and power tools to achieve quality, safety, and takt-time targets.
- Operate production equipment (e.g., hydraulic/pneumatic presses, air tools) and perform pressure and functional tests as specified
- Handle materials and prep parts (staging, verification, labeling) to keep flow smooth and traceable across the line.
- Complete required documentation (checklists, test records, nonconformance tags) and escalate issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, 5S workstation and follow all EHS and quality procedures to support first-pass yield and audit readiness.
- High school diploma/GED and 1–3 years experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly (or equivalent).
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and following technical work instructions; basic ability to read diagrams or job travelers.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and documentation; able to perform basic test steps and identify when to escalate issues.
- Effective team communication and reliability in a fast-paced, standardized work environment.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks and lift/move items with or without reasonable accommodation.
