What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform rubber extrusion service functions, including pin, die, stock, and mandrel changes, and ensure mandrels and tooling are cleaned, maintained, and returned properly after use
- Set up and operate extrusion equipment by correctly installing vacuum cones, following extruder specification sheets, and completing all required production documentation.
- Monitor product quality by checking concentricity and ensuring compliance with established specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area while supporting continuous production operations.
- Assist fellow operators, cross-train in multiple functions, and provide operational flexibility across the department.
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and company guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED is rquired
- One (1) year of manufacturing experience is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal personnel and external personnel
