We are looking for a skilled and dependable Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience building custom cabinets and woodworking projects, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and can work independently while meeting production deadlines.
Work Hours:
- Monday - Thursday 7:00-4:30
- Friday 7:00-12:00
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble custom cabinets and cabinetry according to plans, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other cabinet materials
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and accurately
- Read and understand cabinet drawings, measurements, and shop plans
- Install hardware such as hinges, drawer slides, handles, and pulls
- Ensure cabinets are square, level, properly fitted, and finished to quality standards
- Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality
- Make adjustments and repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines
- Follow company safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
- 3 years previous cabinet-making or woodworking experience preferred
- Ability to read measurements and basic shop drawings
- Experience using table saws, miter saws, routers, drills, sanders, and other woodworking tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to accurately measure and cut materials
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Preferred Skills
- Experience with custom cabinetry
- Experience with frameless or face-frame cabinets
- Experience with CNC equipment is a plus
- Experience with cabinet installation is a plus
- Knowledge of different wood species, plywood, MDF, laminates, and veneers
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
