Description


DANE is seeking a Technical Operations Generalist with 5 years of IT experience and a broad background across enterprise technology environments. This is not a specialized technical role, nor is it a traditional Project Manager position. Instead, we're looking for a versatile technology professional who thrives at the intersection of operations, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across multiple technology domains, including databases, operating systems, applications, BI/reporting, and infrastructure. In this role, you'll partner with technical teams to coordinate operational activities, resolve complex issues, drive initiatives forward, and ensure technology services run effectively. Responsibilities


·        Support day-to-day IT operations and technical initiatives.
·        Work across infrastructure, database, application, BI/reporting, and support teams.
·        Coordinate technical activities, issues, dependencies, and follow-ups.
·        Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of operational technology issues.
·        Track technical tasks and ensure activities are completed on time.
·        Help document systems, processes, issues, and technical procedures.
·        Communicate effectively between technical teams and business stakeholders.
·        Take ownership of assigned technical initiatives and drive them through completion.
·        Support technology upgrades, changes, implementations, and operational improvements.
 
Requirements


·       Broad IT generalist rather than a deep specialist.
·       Technically hands-on and comfortable understanding how different systems work together.
·       Self-motivated and able to operate with limited supervision.
·       Technology enthusiast who enjoys learning and solving problems.
·       Organized enough to coordinate work while remaining close to the technology.
·       Interested in gradually taking on more ownership and project coordination responsibilities.
 
Desired Experience

·        Approximately 5 years of general IT experience.
·        Working knowledge or exposure to several of the following:

•  Databases
• Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Business Intelligence and reporting tools
• Enterprise applications
• Infrastructure and IT operations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
