Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately using Square POS system.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including preparation stations and seating areas
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed during food handling and preparation
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS system Square is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell beverages and food items confidently
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and inventory counts
