Responsibilities
- Supervise daily coffeehouse operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to food safety and handling standards
- Lead, motivate, and train baristas and staff to deliver outstanding customer service and product quality
- Manage POS system for accurate sales processing, cash handling, and cashiering duties
- Oversee coffee preparation, serving, and industry best practices to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a positive atmosphere
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction and loyalty
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee knowledge
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a café or retail environment preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
- Strong math skills for cash handling, retail math, and basic calculations related to sales transactions
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
