Dandelion Cafe Rice Location is currently seeking quick service line cooks to join our growing team. We are a neighborhood café known for fresh ingredients, quality food, and a positive work environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys breakfast and daytime service in a collaborative kitchen with most weekends and holidays off.
Location:
6100 Main St. Houston, TX 77005
Position Details:
- 30–40 hours per week
- Daytime hours only
- Must have availability to open and/or close
- Fast-paced but supportive work environment
Hours of Operation:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday-Sunday: CLOSED
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing and cooking menu items according to café standards
- Assisting with breakfast and lunch service
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing of kitchen utensils
- Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Working efficiently as part of a team to ensure timely service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or café setting
- Breakfast cooking experience is a plus
- Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
