What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer - Racker/Packer/Masker position at Danco Anodizing?
Packs/ Racks parts per Technical Process Sheet, verifies counts, assist and train other packers/ rackers, visually inspect parts, work with supervisor for efficient packing/ racking techniques, and report to supervisor any problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Works with Assistant Shop Supervisor and/or Foreman for efficient packing/ racking techniques.
Verify with Supervisor any special requirements.
Visually inspects parts as they are packed and or Racked for non-conformity and report problems to Q.C. Inspector and/or Supervisor/Foreman.
Report all problems with parts or equipment to Supervisor or Foreman.
Verify counts.
Relay specific job information at change of shift if necessary.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
