Are you a self motivated and creative partner dance instructor?
Our boutique dance lessons studio has a part-time position open for the perfect, experienced instructor.
Fun clientele, mainly social dancers, beginners, and heavy on the wedding couples.
If you desire a peaceful, positive, focused teaching experience in a private studio where you’re always in charge of the music, the temperature, and the vibe, we may be just what you’re looking for.
Must have experience preparing wedding couples for their first dance; lead/follow skills as well as choreography. Friendly demeanor and positive teaching presence is paramount.
This is a part-time position for now, but hours may expand with time. Clientele will take time to build up, so the candidate won't be walking into a full schedule.
The schedule will be set, but teaching days are flexible.
What will you teach?
Ballroom, Latin, Swing, social dancing skills, and wedding dancing skills and choreography.
Private lessons/occasional small private groups/ occasional off-site event groups and opportunity for video instruction.
Due to California’s AB5 law, teachers are employees and not independent contractors.This is a W2 employee position which includes Worker’s Comp. as well as a portion of your taxes being paid by the studio.
Payment is by the lesson, (by the appointment) and will range from $25 to $35 per 45 min. lesson,
$33-$45 per hour
*This is NOT a noisy, social, tons of people on the floor, “regular” dance floor situation. It’s a private, comfortable, peaceful, boutique experience for both students and teacher.
