What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Dance Teacher - Preschool Kindergarten and Ballet position at Dancexpress Dance Studio?
Dancexpress Dance Studio is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and positive dance teacher to teach our Preschool and Kindergarten and Ballet dance classes on Saturdays.
We are looking for someone who loves working with young children and can create a fun, energetic, encouraging classroom where children feel comfortable learning and expressing themselves.
Schedule:
- Saturdays at 12:00 PM – Preschool Dance
- Saturdays at 1:00 PM – Kindergarten Dance
- Saturdays at 2:00 PM - Ballet
Pay: $30 per hour
This is a great opportunity for a college student or young professional who loves dance and enjoys working with children. Dance teaching experience is preferred and also childcare experience and a natural ability to connect with young children.
The ideal candidate is:
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and positive
- Reliable and responsible
- Patient and encouraging with young children
- Comfortable leading a group of preschool and kindergarten-aged children
- Professional and punctual
- Passionate about dance and/or working with children
- Able to commit to teaching Saturdays throughout the dance season. September thru June
