Grant Coordinator Job Description:
Will provide leadership towards the achievement of the organization’s mission, vision, and strategy of its annual goals and objectives. Will also maintain knowledge about program offering and changes, seeking areas to grow and develop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify prospective funders for Dance Collaborative in South Carolina, North Carolina, and any other future states in which the organization operates.
- Compile research data and develop quarterly grant writing plans aligned with the organization’s annual budget.
- Review organization materials and research/review other background information as necessary to create letters of intent and proposals.
- Write and edit proposals and applications to prospective grantors.
- Maintains grant and donor data in Monday.com
- Attend meetings in person and/or by telephone/Zoom as necessary to accomplish the required work, information exchanges via phone and email, communication with prospective funding agencies to clarify guidelines/ instructions, or to request information.
- Report on the grants submissions and awards by coordinating with staff on the project or proposal requested.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum three years’ experience in nonprofit development and grant management
- Excellent writing and presentation abilities to effectively convey the organization's mission and impact.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly W2 Position: $35/hr (between 10-20 hours per week)
- End-of-Year Bonus: Based on meeting fundraising goals
- Performance Evaluations: Opportunity for annual compensation increase

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $1,400.00 - $2,500.00 per month
