Job Description:
Dance 4 Joy is looking for local Orange County dance instructors to teach Christian technique dance classes for all ages (ranging from toddlers to adults) in any/a variety of dance genres including (but not limited to) tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, modern, worship banners, and musical theatre from a Christian foundation. Instructors will teach faith-based classes, incorporating elements such as prayer, Christian music, and faith-based choreographic themes. Instructors will be expected to choreograph pieces for their classes to be performed at D4J seasonal concerts and outreach events. Instructors may also be expected/asked to participate at concerts and outreaches.
Applicant Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years dance teaching experience
- 21
- Must be coachable, take directions, and able to follow and work with a curriculum
- Professional and punctual
- Friendly
- Loves kids
- Detail oriented
- College degree or experiential equivalency is highly preferred
- Strong christian faith life and background
- Pay range $40-75 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
