Summary: Maintains a safe, clean and secure environment by performing and inspecting assigned tasks in a timely and cost effective manner. Maintains clean, inspects and reports damaged equipment, stretchers, wheelchairs, cleaning carts, and floor care equipment. Provides leadership support and training to assigned staff.Responsibilities: 1. Maintains a safe and clean environment by performing daily rounds & inspections of 250,000 to 1 million sq. ft.2. Maintains, cleans, inspects and reports damaged equipment3. Performs cleaning to interior of buildings4. Inspects completed assignments to ensure work is done in accordance with procedure. Communicates with departments to ensure effectiveness of housekeeper.5. Coordinates and oversees all assigned tasks on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. May oversee up to 40 employees6. Provides leadership, support and training to the housekeeping staff & reassigns staff as needed.7. Provides input and makes recommendations for housekeeping staff reviews.8. Develops self motivated and directed environmental work team.9. Schedules, plans and implements special projects as needed.10. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.11. Performs other duties as assigned.Education: HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT Other Information: Required: 3 years related experience in housekeeping. Computer systems, including Word and Excel, read, write and understand English language.Desired: 1 year supervisor/lead experience. Knowledge of Kronos; knowledge of Floor Care; bilingual a plus.
