The Industrial Electrical Technician's primary mission is to ensure the seamless operation of all machinery, upholding our high standards. Prospective candidates should possess a sharp understanding of electrical networks along with a track record in troubleshooting and maintaining electric controls. This role requires demonstrating autonomy and prioritizing health and safety regulations.
This role is stationed at our Pensacola, Florida site, under the leadership of the Maintenance Manager in the Maintenance Department. Our mission perspires in every therapeutic improvement we chase, from discovery to final delivery.
Your Contributions:
- Setup and Sustaining Systems: Engage in setting up and maintaining electrical and instrumentation platforms, including the occasional system renewals to peak efficiency. Train peers on system utilization and safeguard precision through thorough calibration.
- Identifying Issues and Preventative Actions: Conduct thorough investigations to unearth issues, ensuring smooth operational performance. Schedule and execute preventive measures to extend system life and stave off unplanned downtime. Prioritize quick resolution of unexpected breakdowns, ensuring consistency in output.
- Reporting, Regulation, and Cooperation: Document upkeep diligently, adhere faithfully to safety standards, and synchronize with cross-functional teams for upgrades and ongoing maintenance. Balance inventories to ensure readiness and maintain close collaboration with engineering for seamless processes.
Your Expertise:
- 5 Years' Experience in E&I roles
- Proficiency with PLC troubleshooting, VFD technical applications, and an ability to adjust system controls is necessary. A proactive approach to project management is valued.
Physical Demand & Availability:
- Manage equipment weighing up to 40lbs
- Extended periods on feet with necessary movement
- Accommodate industrial environments, confronting noise, heat, and restricted spaces
- Willingness for flexible schedules, including on-call duties, if necessary.
Desired Extras:
- An Associate's degree in electrical or instrumentation disciplines
- Professional certifications (e.g., Journeyman Electrician, ISA Certified, NCCER/Certified Plus) add to your profile.
