We are hiring a Regional Safety Manager to lead safety operations across our Southeast Region, which includes Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. The role will require a significant presence in North Carolina. This opportunity is well-suited for a safety-focused, tech-savvy professional with experience in cargo tank trucking and a strong command of regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities of the Regional Safety Manager:
- Support the VP of Safety & Compliance in developing and updating safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Share 24/7 on-call responsibilities for accident management and emergency response.
- Conduct terminal safety meetings, audits, and inspections.
- Travel 60–80% of the time to assigned terminals (expenses reimbursed).
- Provide driver training and support related to Hours-of-Service compliance, including the use of TMW IT Platform, Total Mail, Motive ELDs, DVRs, and onboard camera systems.
Qualifications of the Regional Safety Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- NATMI Certified Safety Supervisor (CSS) certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of recent cargo tank trucking experience required.
- Minimum 5 years in the trucking industry preferred.
- Minimum 4 years in transportation safety preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA, PHMSA, FRA, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of tank truck equipment.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 40 lbs.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and tasks.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual salary: $70,000–$90,000 (dependent on experience and internal alignment; most new hires do not start at the top of the range)

Work Schedule & Location:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts
