What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Teacher position at Dana’s Family Childcare LLC?
We are currently seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with young children and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. We are a small reputable family oriented center licensed for 51 children. Located in West Allentown.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Social Services, or Human Resources, OR
- Associate’s Degree in any field with at least 30 credit hours in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or Social Services
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support learning and development
- Supervise children and ensure their safety at all times
- Encourage positive behavior and social skills
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members
- Follow all childcare licensing and program guidelines
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, responsible, and patient
- Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
Position Details:
- Full-time position 8:00am-5:00pm
