Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Unload inbound freight and following department processes for inspection of materials.
- Scan materials into MRP system.
- Deliver production and non-production parts to the designated areas.
- Stage, scan, label and load outbound freight in a safe and timely manner.
- Follow department guidelines for 5S.
- Maintain FIFO of components and axles.
- Follow safety guidelines established for materials department.
- Meet requirements for department rotation by performing each position at standard within the department.
- Involvement and assistance in facility waste streams including upkeep and control of waste stream tracking, marshalling, isolation, labeling and coordinating shipments.
- Must work overtime as needed to support department to meet facility requirements.
