Job Title: Forecaster Assistant
Location: New York City (In-office 4 days per week, 1 day remote)
Salary: Up to $50,000 per year

Dana-co, a leading design company specializing in luxury lingerie, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Forecaster Assistant to support demand planning, inventory management, and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for data management, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for working with numbers to help drive accurate forecasting goals.
Job Requirements:
This position requires the candidate to work onsite at least four days per week in our New York City office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Production, Planning, Merchandising, or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) with excellent attention to detail.
- 1-2 years of experience in operations, buying/procurement, financial analysis, and/or logistics/distribution.
- Experience with BlueCherry is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to attend meetings during extended business hours when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage various data sources to create reports, including Available to Sell, Exception Reporting (identifying SKU deficits), variance reporting of Sales vs. Projections, Replenishment, and Demand Planning.
- Review POS data to identify trends and recognize opportunities for improvement.
- Update and maintain forecast reporting across all brands.
- Organize and distribute monthly forecast meeting notes.
- Create Production Cuts reports that analyze data at the SKU level, including current on-hand stock, future production, POS trends, and invoice trends, to optimize stock and future needs.
- Monitor and report units invoiced, open, shipped, and canceled versus plan.
