Landscape Project Manager / Crew Manager
Pay: $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Landscape Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our landscaping team. This position is responsible for managing projects from the initial customer meeting through completion and final billing.
The ideal candidate will have strong landscaping knowledge, leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay organized while coordinating multiple projects and employees.
This is a seasonal position. Employment is currently expected to continue through the end of the landscaping season/year, with future employment depending on company needs and operations.
Responsibilities
- Meet with customers to discuss landscaping needs, project goals, and expectations
- Measure and evaluate job sites
- Prepare and submit estimates using online estimating software
- Schedule landscaping projects and coordinate crews from job to job
- Manage and supervise landscaping employees
- Assign daily responsibilities and ensure crews understand project expectations
- Hire, train, and assist with onboarding new employees
- Track labor, materials, equipment, and job progress
- Order and coordinate delivery of landscaping materials
- Communicate with customers throughout the project
- Handle project changes, customer concerns, and job-site issues
- Complete billing and invoicing after projects are finished
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards
- Maintain accurate job notes, schedules, estimates, and customer records
- Assist crews in the field when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional landscaping experience
- Previous crew leadership, foreman, supervisory, or management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of landscaping installation and maintenance practices
- Experience with grading, drainage, mulch, rock, edging, planting, sod, seeding, retaining walls, or similar landscape services
- Comfortable using computers, smartphones, email, online estimating software, and scheduling systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prepare accurate estimates and calculate labor and material requirements
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing schedules
- Ability to lead employees professionally and hold team members accountable
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to operate trucks, trailers, skid loaders, mini skid loaders, and other landscaping equipment is preferred
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Must be dependable, professional, and able to work independently
