Responsibilities

We are looking for support staff that are quick on their feet, polite, and have a friendly attitude. Our Restaurant Service Staff are the face of our restaurant and will be directly responsible for handling takeout, hosting, bussing, expediting, and/or servicing assigned tables while assisting other FOH functions, depending on the position. Service staff are to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers through the key responsibilities below:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Greet customers and present menus
• Make suggestions based on their preferences
• Take and serve food/drinks orders
• Up-sell when appropriate
• Clear and arrange table settings
• Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
• Deliver checks and collect payments
• Organize, pack, and hand out takeout orders
• Cooperate and communicate with all service and kitchen staff
• Support other FOH staff when needed
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Complete closing checklist.
• Assist in month end inventories as requested.
• Follow health department safety protocols, follow safety procedures, sanitize all tables after guest’s leave.
• Maintain cleanliness dining areas, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
• Restock and replenishing refrigerators, liquor cabinets according to par list.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the supervisor.
• Use the 10/5 rule at all times when encountering guests.
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Complete closing duties within your scheduled time.

• High school diploma is a plus but not required

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
• Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.
