POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for duties associated with general upkeep and maintenance of the grounds, operational systems, greenhouse equipment and utility vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (comprehensive, but not limited to):
- Clean and organize greenhouses, dock area, driveways, and outside field growing areas.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing all systems including inflation, electrical, plumbing, generators, boilers, and production equipment.
- Assist in repairing and installing new systems and greenhouses.
- Assist in ground maintenance including mowing, weeding, trimming, clean up, debris removal and snow removal.
- Assist in mechanical repairs on golf carts, pick-up trucks, EZ Go’s, skid steers, forklifts, scissor lifts and any other greenhouse vehicles.
- Safely use tools and equipment in accordance with company safety standards.
- Assist with and/or perform additional duties as required by operating needs of the company as directed by range management.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Stand, walk, climb, stoop and crouch for entire shift with minimal breaks.
- Regularly lift 50 pounds.
- Willingness and ability to wear gloves and other safety PPE as required.
- Must be able to work in hot, humid and cool temperatures.
- Ability to maintain focus and consistency during scheduled work hours.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / TRAVEL:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Typically, those in this or comparable roles will spend most of their time working side-by-side employees in a production and greenhouse environment with few physical hazards. The business is seasonal, and environments can at times be dusty, warm, and humid.
Qualifications:EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years well-rounded maintenance experience, greenhouse environment beneficial but not required.
- Entry level – no previous experience required.
- Must be able to legally work in the United States and have a valid drivers license.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma.
- Trade specific training, apprenticeship or equivalent and proven hands-on experience desired.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, showing initiative and good judgement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and requests.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, flexible with work hours, and eager to learn.
