About the Campaign
Congressman Dan Goldman represents New York’s 10th Congressional District, covering Lower Manhattan and Northwest Brooklyn. A former federal prosecutor and lead counsel in Donald Trump’s first impeachment, he was first elected to Congress in 2022 and reelected in 2024. He is running for reelection in NY-10 in 2026.
Position Summary
Dan Goldman for New York is looking to hire a full-time Finance Assistant for his 2026 reelection campaign. This role would be hybrid and would require occasional evening and weekend work. Candidates with prior finance or campaign experience would be great.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Finance Director in implementing the campaign’s fundraising strategy
- Manage and update donor databases, ensuring accurate and timely tracking of contributions and pledges
- Conduct donor research
- Prepare background briefings for donor meetings and events
- Support planning and execution of call time, including staffing call time
- Assist with fundraising events
- Draft donor communications, including invitations, and follow-up correspondence
- Assist with FEC compliance tracking and contribution processing as needed
- Provide general administrative and logistical support to the finance team
Qualitifications
- 1-2 years of campaign, fundraising, or political experience preferred (internships count)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Comfortable making donor calls and working with high-level supporters
- Proficiency with Google Workspace preferred
- Commitment to Democratic values and Rep. Goldman’s mission
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Occasional evening
and weekend work will be required.
