Location: Hybrid

About Us
Damora Therapeutics is an innovative biotechnology company that aims to fundamentally redefine care for people with hematologic disorders. We are advancing a new generation of biologics to treat mutant calreticulin-driven myeloproliferative neoplasms, including essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis, where there is significant medical need for new disease-modifying treatments. With multiple programs with best-in-class potential on track to enter clinical development in 2026, our goal is to rapidly bring forward optimized treatments with broad mutation coverage and exceptional convenience to dramatically improve patient outcomes.
This is a unique opportunity to join a science-driven company at a formative stage, where early clinical data will directly shape development strategy and drive long-term value. The right candidate will join a team with significant early- and late-stage development experience, with the goal of quickly moving through dose escalation/expansion into pivotal trials.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to build and scale the FP&A function. This leader will design the forecasting infrastructure, financial processes, analytical frameworks, and business partnering capabilities required to support the company’s transition from early R&D into clinical development and future commercialization.
This is a highly strategic and hands on role requiring comfort with incomplete data, rapid change, and building from first principles. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-growth biotech environment and can partner seamlessly with R&D, G&A and Executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities

- Build and own the long‑range plan, annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and scenario planning models.
- Develop and implement financial models that reflect evolving R&D, clinical, and future commercial strategies.
- Lead investment analyses, portfolio trade‑off modeling, and capital allocation frameworks.
Business Partnership
- Operate as the primary finance partner to R&D, G&A, and organizational leaders.
- Provide decision support, financial insights, and proactive risk/opportunity identification.
- Translate complex scientific and operational plans into understandable financial implications.
Systems, Processes & Infrastructure
- Establish rigorous FP&A processes, including planning calendars, templates, dashboards, and budget accountability mechanisms.
- Identify & implement FP&A tools (e.g., Adaptive, Planful, Anaplan, SAP, NetSuite modules).
- Build automated reporting, management dashboards, and analytics capabilities.
Corporate Reporting & Governance
- Support quarterly earnings preparation, Board of Director materials, and investor‑facing financial analyses.
- Drive financial controls, accuracy, and governance across FP&A operations.
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and scale a high‑performing FP&A team.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, agility, and analytical excellence.
Qualifications
- 10–15 years of progressive FP&A and finance leadership experience, ideally in public biotech or life sciences.
- Deep experience supporting R&D and early‑development organizations.
- Demonstrated success building FP&A processes and systems from early maturity.
- Expertise in dynamic financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence.
- Strong understanding of SOX, public‑company planning cadence, and capital markets.
- Master’s degree, MBA, or relevant advanced credential preferred.
