Warehouse Associate / Order Picker (Cold Storage / Freezer)

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our cold storage operations at our Milton facility. In this role, you will work in an industrial freezer and refrigerated warehouse environment, with temperatures reaching -20°F. You will be responsible for reviewing order sheets, accurately picking and staging frozen and refrigerated items, and preparing them for delivery. Because you will often work with minimal supervision after training, high accountability and a strong track record of reliability are absolute must.

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour (Starting pay depends on experience and certifications)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift hours
• Weekend Requirements: Minimal weekends (based on operational need)

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Picking & Staging: Pick and stage frozen and refrigerated products quickly, neatly, and efficiently.
• Logistics Support: Build route carts for delivery trucks, and safely load and unload products.
• Order Accuracy: Match products accurately to order sheets and utilize handheld technology for inventory and order verification.
• Equipment Operation: Safely move products using pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other warehouse equipment.
• Inventory Control: Assist with product consolidation and returns.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse work area, and strictly follow all company safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Teamwork: Flexibility to support general warehouse operations as workload and business needs change.

Required Qualifications

• Environment: Ability and willingness to work regularly in freezer and refrigerated environments (temperatures reaching -20°F below zero).
• Physical Demands: Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs, as well as stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, pull, and move throughout the entirety of the shift.
• Skills: High attention to detail with the ability to read order sheets, labels, and product instructions accurately.
• Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after initial training.
• Reliability: Proven track record of reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Logistics: Reliable transportation to and from the Milton facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience.
• Prior experience in freezer, cold storage, food distribution, grocery, loading, picking, or staging environments.
• Current Forklift certification.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
