Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in dental hygiene; currently licensed and registered to practice as a dental hygienist in New York State.
- Minimum one-year experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred.
- Experience in tele-dentistry is preferred
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Bi-lingual Spanish skills preferred.
- Must be computer literate, strong data entry skills with knowledge of patient electronic medical records.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team; prioritize tasks. Must have the ability to interface with participants/patients as well as all levels of staff.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, education, racial and ethnic backgrounds.
- Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills; empathy and compassion to give support to patients.
