About Us: We're a growing macaron startup passionate about creating beautiful, delicious treats that bring joy to our customers. We're looking for a talented baker who shares our love for precision, creativity, and quality to join our small team.
The Role :
We're seeking a part-time baker who can help us craft our signature macarons while bringing their own passion and ideas to the kitchen. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who has a couple of years making macarons and has a passion for baking.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and bake macarons according to the recipe (we currently have 15 flavors)
- Communicate openly with the team about production needs, challenges, and ideas
- Contribute creative ideas for new flavors and techniques while respecting our brand identity
- Adapt to changing schedules and production demands as we grow
- Monitor quality and consistency throughout the baking process
- Create the product on time with the highest quality
Who You Are:
- Someone who has 1-2 years of experience making macarons specifically (**if you DON'T have experience making macarons, please DO NOT apply**)
- Knowledgeable about baking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen safety
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow recipes precisely
- A strong communicator who isn't afraid to ask questions or share ideas
- Flexible and adaptable to the fast-paced nature of a startup
- Creative thinker who can balance innovation with consistency
- Honest and reliable team player
- Passionate about learning and improving your craft
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Bonus: Culinary degree and/or comparable certifications
