Safety Coordinator

Damcon LP is currently seeking an experienced Safety coordinator in the El Paso Texas Area. This is an entry level position. We are a Specialty Sub-Contractor Specializing in Reinforcing Steel.

JOB FUNCTIONS

.Must communicate a good safety message to workers on the jobs

.Must be able to interact with workers on the job

.Provide assistance to workers, Superintendents Clients and Safety Managers

.Conduct Daily Safety Inspections and create Inspection Reports

.Must Spend Time in The Field

.Must make sure that we are always in compliance with Safety regulations and Laws

.Must prioritize accident Prevention.

.Be prepared to participate in GC all hands meetings and deliver positive safety message

Requirements

Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus

.Possess Great Communication Skills

.Minimum 1 years experience in Construction

.Minimum 1 years Rebar Experience

.Minimum OSHA 30

CPR First Aid

.must Possess Excellent Organizational Skills

.Time management and being able to prioritize is a must
