Role Overview
We are seeking an Enterprise Architect to define and guide the technology architecture that underpins our health insurance products, platforms, and operations. This individual contributor role partners across IT, Product, Data, Security, and Business Architecture to design scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions that align with enterprise strategy.
Key Responsibilities
"Develop and maintain enterprise-level architecture frameworks, reference architectures, and technology standards.
"Partner with business and IT leaders to translate strategic goals into technology capabilities and architectural roadmaps.
"Evaluate current-state application, data, and integration landscapes; identify modernization opportunities, risks, and dependencies.
"Guide solution design for major programs by ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and long-term technology direction.
"Review solution proposals, architectures, and designs; provide clear recommendations and architectural governance.
"Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Data teams to ensure architectures support compliance, privacy, resilience, and interoperability.
"Conduct technology assessments and lead PoCs for emerging tools relevant to claims, provider systems, digital experience, analytics, and automation.
"Maintain traceability from business needs capabilities technology architecture.
Qualifications
"7 12 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or senior technical roles.
"Understanding of health insurance systems (claims, enrollment, provider, UM/CM, eligibility, billing) and related integration patterns is preferred.
"Proven ability to create architecture artifacts (reference architectures, system maps, domain models, integration patterns, principles).
"Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and modern architectures (APIs, microservices, event-driven design, DevOps).
"Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
"Familiarity with EA frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or SAFe Architecture is a plus.
