What are the responsibilities and job description for the House Manager (Behavior Health Technician) position at Damascus House, Inc.?
SUMMARY: Frontline healthcare professional who provides direct, hands-on care and support to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Operating under the supervision of licensed professionals. Technician will monitor patient behaviors, and assist with daily living activities while providing positive support to the clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
· Maintains order in the community, conducts client searches, and enforces house rules, documents incidents and events in the electronic record and/or Shift Report.
· Assigns rooms, work assignments, and chores to residents to ensure orderly operation of residential services.
· Monitor client’s mood, behavior, and physical well-being.
· Assigns and performs tasks and chores with residential staff to ensure that the entire facility, grounds, garages and residential living quarters (client rooms and common areas) are safe, neat, clean, and in good working order.
· Supervises clients in taking medications in accordance with Damascus House, Inc. policies, assists in arranging for refills and coordinates pharmacy pick up of client prescriptions when needed.
· Collects urine specimens as required in accordance with Damascus House, Inc. policies and ensures samples are routed to proper labs for testing.
· Provides residential transportation services as needed.
· Assists with special projects as needed.
· Remains aware of Residential schedule, ensuring 24-hr. coverage as required.
· Attends mandatory staff meetings and completes all required annual trainings.
· Prepares nutritional meals daily in accordance with food chart guidelines when needed.
· Assists with yard/house cleaning as directed.

· Physical Stamina: The role requires frequent bending, standing, walking, and sometimes physically managing or lifting up to 50 pounds.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following qualifications:
· 1 year related experience in the behavioral health field
· Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening
