Housekeeping Inspector and Supervisor
- Plans the specific objectives and goals of the Housekeeping department
- Train new hire personnel demonstrating the procedure and techniques required to complete all tasks to brand standard
- Evaluates the quality of work through inspection and performance appraisals of each Housekeeper
- Orders supplies and maintains inventories in conjunction with the General Manager
- Communicates with all Front Desk Clerks regarding procedures for housekeeping and laundry
- Attends and Co-Leads start of shift and team meetings
- Performs light maintenance including trash pick-up, scheduled rotation of mattresses, PTAC filter cleaning, carpet shampooing, window washing and other related duties
- Cleans and monitors room cleaning schedules for maximum efficiency and support
- Has mastery of all Housekeeping responsibilities and tasks including but not limited to:
- Knowledge of all brand or hotel standards
- Completion of missing linen reports
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Track and monitor clean room reports
- Proper positioning and maintenance of Housekeeper carts
- Furniture and design inspection
- Follows all safety rules and reports all safety concerns timely
- Supports Housekeeping when understaffed or in need of additional support
- Coordinates housekeeping efforts as room status changes
- Understand and abide by all company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager
Housekeeper
- Knowledge of all brand or hotel standards
- Cleans rooms to meet brand standards
- Follows all safety rules and reports all safety concerns timely
Qualifications for Housekeeping Supervisor
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 2 years Previous Executive housekeeping experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to use stairs, bend, squat, stand or walk for extended periods that may exceed 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds intermittently throughout the course of a normal work day
Skills & Attributes – Desired Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent dependability and punctuality a must
- Positive attitude and ability to build cohesive, high performing teams
- Experience in hospitality preferred but not required
