Fence Installer
Dalton Fence Co is looking to expand our team of fence labor/installers. We offer full-time positions with competitive pay. No experience needed but prior knowledge is a plus. We are a small family owned business and look forward to adding to our crew.
Job Description:
- Installs fence products as directed by the Supervisor and/or crew leader.
- Cleans project site and yard area as directed.
- Works with other members of the crew to complete assigned tasks.
- Help install different variants of fencing.
- Trimming sections of the fencing to ensure that they are appropriate in size.
- Preparing the site by digging holes and trenches in which the fencing will be positioned.
- Joining, raising, and securing segments of the fence in place.
- Checking for gaps and vulnerabilities in the fencing and correcting these, if needed
- Full time
- Pay ranges $16-18 depending on experience
- Pay increases after 90 days and 1 year evaluation
- Earned Vacation Time
- VALID Drivers License required
- Must pass a background check
Physical requirements include:
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Repetitive motions including turning of head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending, squatting,
kneeling, reaching overhead and flexing arms, legs, wrists, and fingers.
- Good coordination
- Operating a wheelbarrow with loads up to 200 pounds
- Walking extended distances in a variety of terrain'
