Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to establish accurate diagnoses.
- Administer joint injections, perform suturing, and mild office procedures.
- Coordinate diagnostic evaluations using medical imaging, laboratory data collection, and interpret ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation.
- Utilize EMR systems for comprehensive medical records management and data collection.
- Engage in health coaching, patient education on medication administration.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with current certification.
- Demonstrated experience with EMR systems.
- Proficiency in CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-10) for accurate billing and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
- Familiarity with protocols including HIPAA compliance and OSHA.
- Ability to work effectively in outpatient settings with diverse patient populations including geriatrics patients.
