What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time, 10 Month Classroom Paraprofessional (Cafeteria) position at Dallastown Area School District?
- Work Hours - 9:00a.m. - 2:30p.m. (1/2 hr unpaid lunch) Your work schedule will follow student attendance full and half days during the school year
- - approximately 177 student days mid-August through early June
- While there are typically no pay periods July through August, you'll enjoy summers off to spend more time with your family
- For a full school year, your bi-weekly pays will typically begin by mid-September and continue through late-June.
- Inclusion/continuation in the Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS) through payroll contributions
- Four (4) Paid Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
- After a successful Probationary Period of 90 calendar days, you'll receive Paid Leave: 3 Personal Days and 10 Sick Days.
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to relate to students
- Being child-centered, warm, and receptive toward children
- Ability to carry out oral and written communication and follow instructions
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others
- Acceptable record of attendance required.
