What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time, 10 Month Health Room Nurse position at Dallastown Area School District?
The Dallastown Area School District is seeking to fill a Full-Time, 10-Month Health Room Nurse position at Dallastown Area Middle School beginning the start of the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will play a valuable role in inspiring and creating pathways for student success by supporting classroom teachers in the delivery of supports and services to students.
- Work hours will be 7:15a.m. - 3:15p.m.
- Work hours work will be as indicated above which will be 7.50 working hours with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
- Your work schedule will follow student attendance full and half days during the school year -- approximately 177 student days mid-August through early June. Additional days may be arranged by your supervisor.
- While there are typically no pay periods July through August, you will enjoy summer off to spend more time with your family
- For a full school year, your bi-weekly pays will typically begin by mid-September and continue through late June.
- Immediate/continued inclusion in Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS)
- Six (6) Paid Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Good Friday
- After a successful Probationary Period of 90 calendar days, you'll receive Paid Leave: 3 Personal Days and 10 Sick Days (pro-rated based on start date)
- If applicable, Paid Bereavement Leave and Jury Duty Supplemental Pay
