Job Summary:
the Operations Specialist provides hands-on operational and systems support to Campus Operations, with a primary focus on tactical Workday execution and employee-facing website maintenance. This role functions as a flexible, execution-oriented resource supporting both planned and ad hoc operational needs, particularly during periods of increased workload related to system implementation and institutional initiatives.
The Operations Specialist works under the direction of the Operations Manager and in close coordination with the Operations Coordinator.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Workday Support

Provide hands-on operational and technical support for the Workday implementation, with a focus on Finance and Human Capital Management (HCM) workstreams.

Execute clearly defined Workday tasks following established workflows, approvals, and guidance from project leadership

Support data preparation, validation, cleanup, and reconciliation activities related to Finance and HR processes

Assist with Workday testing activates, including test case execution, issue documentation, and results tracking.

Support implementation readiness tasks, including checklist execution, configuration verification, and follow-up on assigned action items.

Assist with post-deployment stabiliazation actibitites, including troubleshooting, documentation updates, and operational cleanup.
Employee & Project Website

Complete approved employee website edits and updates

Maintain accuracy of operational and compliance-related content

Coordinate with Marketing & Communications as required
Operational Support

Assist with ad hoc operational tasks and short-term projects

Provide additional capacity during peak workload periods

Support campus operations initiatives as assigned

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
