The Artistic Operations Intern will support the Artistic Operations Department in the planning and execution of concerts, rehearsals, and related events. This role provides hands-on experience in artistic operations and an opportunity to learn the day-to-day responsibilities of managing artists and concert logistics.

The Artistic Operations Intern will support the Artistic Operations Department in the planning and execution of concerts, rehearsals, and related events. This role provides hands-on experience in artistic operations and an opportunity to learn the day-to-day responsibilities of managing artists and concert logistics.
Duties
- Shadow artistic staff during concert duties and backstage rehearsals to gain insight into event operations.
- Assist in generating artist itineraries and contracts as needed.
- Research programming ideas, styles, and trends to support the artistic department’s planning initiatives.
- Attend weekly planning meetings with the artistic department to stay informed on upcoming events and projects.
- Prepare planning documents and materials to support the artistic department’s activities.
- Provide general administrative support as requested to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Music, Arts Administration, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning about artistic operations and concert production.
- Availability to commit approximately 15 hours per week to internship responsibilities.
