What are the responsibilities and job description for the Educational Road Representative position at Dallas Strings?
About Dallas Strings
For more than two decades, Dallas Strings has proudly served North Texas as a family-owned business dedicated exclusively to orchestra programs. As the region's largest orchestra-only rental company, we have remained committed to supporting local school orchestras through hands-on involvement, advocacy, and exceptional service. Our experienced, close-knit team and specialized repair shop have enabled us to make a lasting impact on the orchestra community while providing personalized support to students, families, and educators.
In March 2026, Dallas Strings became part of National Educational Music Company (NEMC), expanding our ability to serve music programs while maintaining the local relationships and expertise that have defined our business for more than 20 years. NEMC, a member of Ensemble Performing Arts, supports school music programs nationwide through a network of affiliated dealers and company-owned locations. We provide instrument access through rentals, along with the service and support schools need to keep programs running and accessible for students.
Together, Ensemble and NEMC connect schools, educators, and families, into one coordinated system. By working across these groups, we help expand access to instruments, instruction, and ongoing participation in music.
NEMC serves as the operational backbone behind this work—partnering directly with educators and dealers to ensure students can get instruments, stay in programs, and continue playing. We help connect what students need to start and stay in music.
For more than 60 years, NEMC has partnered with educators and dealer communities across the country, building long-standing relationships that support school music programs nationwide.
