We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist II, internally referred to as our Rad Tech I I . Rad Tech II’s will f ocus will be on conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures and Mammography , which involves operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients. This position is on a Full-time .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- C onduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, and other examinations following departmental protocols
- R esponsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed
- I nteract with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations
- M aintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history
- S tay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification
- O perate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images
- M aintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain your register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred
- Proficient computer skills.
