Overview
We are seeking a Telemetry LPN , sometimes referred to as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse . As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will assist with patients that require continuous monitoring of their heart activity and vital signs. The Tele LPN will provid e basic nursing care while supporting the specialized needs of telemetry patients . Working alongside RNs, physicians, and other healthcare team members to provide patient care our hospital's Telemetry unit , LPNs focus on assisting with patient care and ensuring comfort and safety.
Shift’s Available: Days - Weekends (Friday- Sunday OR Saturday- Monday)

Hours: 7a-7p
Location : Dallas Regional Medical Center – Mesquite, TX

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- M onitor patients using telemetry equipment that tracks heart rhythms and other vital signs , you will assist in identifying irregularities or signs of distress
- N otify the proper staff about significant changes in a patient’s telemetry readings or condition
- M easure and record blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation
- M aintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including telemetry data and observations
- H elp our telemetry patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- E xplain procedures and telemetry monitoring to patients and their families to alleviate concerns
- W ork under the supervision of RNs and report directly to them regarding patient care issues
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- IV certification upon hire
