The hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Labor and Delivery Unit in the area. In addition, Dallas Regional is the only Trauma Center for 13 miles, and was the first Accredited Geriatric Emergency Room in Dallas County. The hospital is a recipient of Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Awards, 15 Healthgrades Five-Star ratings over the past three years, and Straight "A" Hospital Safety Grades from The Leapfrog Group since 2018. Responsibilities
Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow. Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures. Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through the appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships and information gathering and dispersion.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Completion of Echocardiogram program certification preferred.
- EKG rhythm analysis / interpretation certificate or equivalent preferred.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current required.
- Able to assist physician with TEE testing preferred.
- Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred.
- ARDMS or CCI credential required
- Able to perform stress testing preferred.
