The Clinical RN Educator in our hospital setting is a registered nurse (RN) who is responsible for providing education services of clinical and patient care services to attain our hospital’s objectives , mission and values established by corporate administration. They act as a bridge between clinical practice and education, helping staff stay current with best practices, policies, and procedures.

- Develop and deliver orientation programs for new clinical staff and provide ongoing training, in-services, and continuing education on clinical skills, protocols, equipment, and patient care standards
- Serve as a clinical resource to staff during patient care, mentor and coach clinical staff in skill development, critical thinking, and decision-making, and support new graduates and clinical residents during onboarding and transition to practice
- Help implement new clinical guidelines, hospital policies, and evidence-based practices while monitoring compliance and providing remediation or education as needed
- Collaborate with leadership on quality improvement and patient safety projects, analyze performance data, and help develop action plans for improvement
- Encourage certifications, advanced degrees, and career growth and keep staff informed about changes in healthcare regulations and trends
Education and Work Experience
- Must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of 5 years acute care experience.
- Minimum of 2 years previous educational experience preferred.
