Position Summary
The Leasing Manager is responsible for overseeing all leasing activities, managing prospective resident relationships, supporting resident retention, and leading the leasing team to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. The ideal candidate is organized, sales-driven, and passionate about providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all leasing activities for the apartment community.
- Tour prospective residents and showcase apartment homes and community amenities.
- Follow up with leads through phone calls, email, and text to convert prospects into residents.
- Maintain strong occupancy and leasing performance.
- Supervise, train, and motivate leasing consultants.
- Ensure leases, applications, and resident files are accurate and compliant.
- Coordinate move-ins and provide a seamless onboarding experience for new residents.
- Assist with resident retention initiatives and lease renewals.
- Respond professionally to resident questions and concerns.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitor pricing.
- Collaborate with maintenance and property management to ensure apartment readiness.
Qualifications
- Previous apartment leasing experience required.
- Prior leasing management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with property management software (Yardi, OneSite, AppFolio, ResMan, or similar) is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and email.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Reliable transportation required.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
