- Stay up to date with U.S laws and regulations regarding apparel and hardline
- Identify and address potential compliance issues and risks, working to prevent product
- Manage compliance approvals and exceptions for 81Eighty
- Manage and communicate all third-party testing and inspection requirements for
- Manage in-line internal audits for all overseas apparel styes
- Manage and approve care instruction labeling and packaging
- Responsible for annual factory score care reviews and Vendor Compliance Manual
- Prepare for CPSC e-filing and ensure all vendors are onboarded
- Perform other functions and activities as directed by the Global Sourcing and
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in similar position
- Apparel CPSC testing background required, additional hardline experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to communicate
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to simultaneously mange a high level of detail
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high
- Able to work well in a team environment, offering assistance and support whenever
- Able to balance internal priorities with client expectations
- Able to work flexible hours based on international schedules
