Senior Accountant - B2B SaaS Company - Boston

A growing AI-driven B2B SaaS company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its lean, collaborative finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership across the accounting function, partner directly with senior leadership, and help build scalable processes within a high-growth technology environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, tech-savvy, and passionate about leveraging AI and automation to improve accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable, credit card expenses, reimbursements, and vendor payment controls.
• Manage accounts receivable collections, monitor aging, and proactively address payment issues.
• Review sales tax filings and support annual audit and tax processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows through technology, AI, and automation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3 years of accounting experience, ideally within SaaS or a high-growth technology company.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and hands-on experience with month-end close, AP, AR, and reconciliations.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with an interest in AI and automation.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and wearing multiple hats on a lean team.
  
  

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a lean accounting team and work directly with leadership. They will consider candidates who have experience auditing SaaS companies in public accounting, or candidates currently working in a similar SaaS or technology company. The position is primarily remote. The expected compensation for this position is between $90K-$115K, depending on experience.
